We are a provider of enrichment programs for public schools, private schools, preschools, after school programs, home school groups, etc.
All our enrichment programs offer the following:
- Integrated science and mathematical concepts
- Structured classes with practical, hands-on work
- Team building exercises
- Challenges appropriate to the age of the students
- Fun, engaging subject matter
Our most successful programs involve teaching kids about robotics through the use of LEGO® sets and our materials. We call these our Elementary Engineering and Robotics (EE&R) Classes using LEGO pieces
TLCK sponsored FIRST Technology Challenge (FTC) robotics team, 2868 Smoke and Mirrors, won the Jan 9, 2010 Qualifier and came away with the Innovate Award at the St. Pete Qualifier. We partnered with Team Minotaur and in the final match won 485 points to 45 points which is the highest score in an FTC tournament in Florida season in the USA. On Jan 30, 2010, Team 2868 Smoke and Mirrors competed in the USF Poly RoboBattle 2010 Qualifier and won both the best overall team trophy, the Inspire Award and also won the winning Alliance with Team 3736 Serious Business and Team 619 Mecha Mako Robotics. Team 2868 Smoke and Mirrors won the State FTC tournament at USF Tampa on Feb 27, 2010 winning both the Inspire Award (best overall robot trophy) and was a part of the winning Alliance with Team Duct Tape and Team Force Applied. Next up, a trip to Atlanta for the World Festival for the national FTC tournament.

TLCK will be co-sponsoring a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Sumo Event at the LEGO Imagination Center® in Downtown Disney® Marketplace at the Walt Disney World® Resort, Orlando in May 8, 2010 from 10 am in the store. Prizes will be available for the matches for ages 9-11 years old and 12 years and over. Adults are welcome to participate in the 12 and over event. Check for full rules and other details under Special Events. Dates still to be determined.
