Above Classes are Core Classes. There will be classes other than the core but all students who want to be involved with LEGO Robotics will take the core classes. The others are optional and subject to the interest of the students.
CAD - Computer Aided Drawing using LEGO pieces
- Target age 10 years and up
- Students will take home software
- Heavy emphasis on math, especially coordinate geometry in 3 planes and 3D visualization
- Summer Camp only 3 hours a day for 5 days (M-F) at $140
Elementary Engineering III - Pneumatics Projects (8 weeks, TBA)
- Target age 8 years and up
- Pneumatic projects and elements
Robotics Competition I - Robotic Competition I (Summer camp only, $150)
- Target age 9 years and up
- Covers Robolab 2.5 programming, more complex robots, grabber arms, etc.
- Summer Camp 3 hours a day for 5 days (M-F) at $150, longer hour for higher fees.
Master Builders - Independent team projects for the advanced builder (TBA)
- Target age 10 years and up
- Summer only project management style with teams of children building independent complex projects e.g. fire engine with working systems, tower cranes, boom cranes, etc.
- Class will meet sparsely to talk through objectives then come up with solutions independently and a design meeting will be held to determine best design
